Committee of Management
The Meredith Community Centre is governed by a volunteer community based Committee of Management. The Committee of Management is made up of Members of the Association who are elected at the Annual General Meeting held in April each year. The Committee of Management has a governance role and is responsible mainly for setting the strategic direction and policies of the Community Centre.
The Committee of Management meets at the Community Centre on the 2nd Wednesday of the month commencing at 9.30am.
Membership of the Association
The Community Centre welcomes people to apply for membership of Meredith Community Centre, Inc. As a Member you would be entitled to:
- attend meetings of the Association
- have input into the governance of the Association
- have voting rights and nominate for a position on the Committee
- receive a copy of the Annual Report
- receive invitations to House functions
